Where to Stay
Our event will be held at The Gallery at Young Venues, 613 W 500 N, Layton, UT 84041, about 25–30 minutes north of downtown Salt Lake City. When choosing a hotel, you have two great options depending on the experience you want during your stay.
Option One
Stay in Salt Lake City
Best for the full city experience
If you want to explore Salt Lake City while you're here, we recommend staying downtown. You'll have easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping, and everything downtown has to offer.
The tradeoff: plan for approximately a 25–30 minute Uber to and from the event each day, depending on traffic. Downtown Salt Lake City is roughly 23 miles from Layton.

Option Two
Stay in Layton
Best for convenience
Layton is a suburb north of Salt Lake City and is where the event is being held. Staying here will put you much closer to the venue — likely around a 5-minute Uber, depending on the hotel and exact venue location.
The tradeoff: Layton is suburban, so you won't have the same walkable downtown/city experience that you'll get by staying in Salt Lake City. If your priority is getting to and from the event as easily as possible, this is the better choice.

Choose Salt Lake City if you want to make a trip out of it and experience the city. Choose Layton if convenience and being close to the event are your priority.

Travel Logistics
Fly into SLC
Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is the closest airport — roughly 30 minutes from Layton and 15 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City.
Getting around
Uber and Lyft run reliably throughout the valley. A rental car is optional, but convenient if you plan to explore beyond the event.
Event days
Doors open each morning in Layton on October 30–31. VIP guests begin October 29 in Sundance, with the community send-off dinner on Saturday, November 1.
Late October weather
Expect crisp fall days, 55–65°F, with cool evenings. Bring a jacket, especially for time spent in the mountains.
